Why does it have that giant level for opening and closing it? It felt like a type of metal as well which isnt friendly when its cold.
You flip the handle up so that the long piece is pointing up and use this as an extra grip for the snow scraper.

Hope that makes sense.

Has anyone seen for this price at either Heartland or Etobicoke (GTA)? Wouldn't mind picking one up tonight if so.

The Overlea location had some on Sunday. Call around to see if the locations have this? I don’t have the product number handy, any RFD’ers have this?

Although it big, this is the best brush, scraper I have ever bought. The Scrapper does a great job at getting the ice off.
I keep an extra one at the door to my house so I don't have to open the car to get the brush inside the car. Saves that frustrating snow on the seat annoyance!

I must have an older version. Looks almost the same but without the grey hook. Works great.

That metal “leverage” piece broke off just from bouncing around my car lol. No use for it anyway

This is a newer verison (2018) from the 2017 v. I purchased last. I wonder what the grey clip or hook does?

Anyone can enlighten me.

Is it somehow more fragile than older versions of this brush?

I have a similar one from 5+ years ago, except it has a regular brush head instead of the squeegee... Still works like new
They never last 2 year for me. May be we just have more snow and freezing rain than you. When I first bought one from Costco (years ago), the Costco cashier made the same comment (they don't last).
