Ram is sodered, and since I see no dc jack, has to be PD USB-C

Damn. 4GB is just too small for web browsering these days. Chrome alone needs like 32GB to be comfortable

This is perfectly acceptable for the price. Fine for general productivity.

I have an Acer C720 Chromebook with 4GB running Windows 10 flawlessly. I can run pretty intensive stuff on it, including Power BI, several IDEs, Edge Chromium all in parallel.

A much newer model with 4GB ram should have no issue running just simple ChromeOS

PassMark is passable for a Chromebook.

RAM is soldered but 4GB is enough for a Chromebook.

Not a terrible buy from Costco.

If you want to buy from a top shelf vendor, this is as good as you'll get with the warranty options.

It’s a good price for this chromebook. I remember paying $299 at Costco for a similar Acer model with Celeron 4120 in Jan 2021.

Per one of the reviewers on Costco.ca and the Acer website this may not actually be FHD.

there is another review above says that it is FHD...

I bought this in store on Sunday at the Richmond location. Checked and still has 5 years of updates too.

4GB is more than fine for chromebook.

Source: actual user, and have never felt RAM was the issue of any performance issues.

You've never used ChromeOS. 4GB is plenty for most users.

32GB? Come on.
