Picked one up from the Heritage store in Calgary yesterday too. Although it might be hard to find as it was located in the stationary/office supplies isle.
Do you have the model number? I wonder if it's the same one we bought a year ago.

i have an older one.

i put the sensor on 1st floor and main unit on 2nd floor. i don't actually use it for outdoor monitoring.

it's to monitor the temp and humidity difference between the floors. very useful info for adjusting temp/humidy for less than $20!

I checked Nanaimo today.

Still at $29.99.
Earthlings, you're evicted.
You are not getting the damage deposit back.

This could be an honest question, if so, you're exempted from the rhetoric below.

FFS, why do keep getting posts like this every time one of these weather stations comes up for sale?

Some people live nowhere near a weather station, some live somewhat close, but the temps are never/seldom close enough to local temps, some use them at a cottage/cabin where they don't have internet, and some people just like gadgets to play with.

If this isn't the type of product you need, simply move along. Your 'solutions' don't apply.
I was just merely pointing out that there’s an alternative to weather stations,
and I as a forecasting unit a connected unit would be more accurate :)

I have been running my AcuRite station for a few days. It finally showing outside condition correctly - matching weather forecast and my Ecobee readings. - inside and outside temperature/RH%.

I like the daily high/low temperature reset every day. I can monitoring the effect on the lowering the thermostat temperature at night.

Good idea. I am wondering how long the outdoor sensor will last outside. I may move it back inside.

That is a great idea. I have the previous model as well, but use the sensor outside. Shielded from rain and sun though. But I have another BIOS model that shows outside temp and RH as well. Never thought of doing the sensor inside. Or maybe in a garage as well

I hope there are some of these available next time I go in. I like the colour display, so much easier to read then the BIOS grayscale one. I have to walk up to that one to read it. These you can read anywhere in the room

It'll last a long time, especially if covered. I have in on the side of my shed under the overhang and it's been there for years and still works.

Very cool

But is this really that useful? Temp I'd like to know is the forecast for later in the day. I don't need the current one (since I can step out of my house).

How do you all use this?

Is this on sale online?
If I said yes, would you then be willing to look for yourself to prove me wrong?
