Veges taste better when they are home grown as they are fresher.

The fact that i can just harvest and eat my lettuce without washing is priceless.

Nutritionally, lettuce is pretty much useless regardless of where it’s grown… Aerogarden is a decent (though an expensive) way to introduce yourself to growing your own herbs/veggies.

But why would say lettuce's nutrition is useless?

Because it’s mostly water. Take lettuce and compare it to another vegetable by nutrition/weight. Here’s a comparison vs other (better) greens:

Green leaf lettuce is slightly better than iceberg but not by much.

You have to keep buying their seeds in future. It is very expensive =(

Yes, keep the plastic frame and you can buy replacement peat moss or rockwool and put in your own seeds. Google it and there are plenty of YouTube videos showing you how.

Use my own seeds, fertilizer, and rockwool/medium. Keep your initial baskets.
Peppers, tiny tim tomatoes, kale all work.
Growing lettuce at moment.
