MSRP stands for manufacturer “suggested” retail price. That’s what it is, suggestion. Most manufacturer(especially Apple) limits the lowest price, rather than the highest price. I believe shoppers crunched their numbers and realized that the only customer they have are 20x and bonus redemption crowd. Who will still buy stuff from them if the price is over MSRP, but cumulative is lower than retail everywhere else.
