they are able to do price adjustment if they have stock, yet really depends on the CSR you got

I got these from costco a while ago for $100 and have been happy with them. They haven't been $129 for a while, but $80 is still a good price.

$80 is good... but the current clearance price of $50 is even better

Fyi I don't think these support high quality audio (ex: aptx)

According to Qualcomm the Y50BT supports aptX (I believe the C50BT is just the Canadian version of the Y50BT)

Anyone have experience with the Sony MDR-ZX780DC? I see them for $99.97 at the Costco I’m at right beside the $49.97 C50.

The Sony might be twice the price, but is it worth it? Apparently has noise cancellation but sound wise the C50 seems to have better bass.

I’ll do some research as well but wanted to know if anyone has any input.

the C50BT is the costco version, to so retails can't price match

Ahh

Also found it it supports both aptX and AAC (for us Apple folk) BUT it’s only Bluetooth 3.0 (google it to see if it’s important to you)

You have 30 days price protection if they still have stock where you get the price protection. No stock no price adjustment, that's why they clear them out as fast as they can.

I've listened to the Sony ones in store before and thought they sounded terrible. Sound quality was meh and major lack of bass.

Does anybody know how these AKG C50BTs are with latency/lag? I know they are aptX, but aptX has various standards, including aptX-LL (low latency), and these headphones are NOT marked LL. I want to use them for watching TV, and if there's any A/V sync issues, I don't want them. I've read dozens and dozens of reviews on Amazon and AKG's website, but I can't find anyone commenting on audio lag. Thanks.

Looking for a set to do the same exact thing. I don’t think these are LL, as I can’t find them on the official aptX site under the aptX-LL product list: https://www.aptx.com/products?field_apt ... ry_tid=125

But they are on the aptX list though (under Y50BT): https://www.aptx.com/products?field_apt ... ry_tid=125
