[Costco] Alterra weed puller - 14.97$

Seen in store at Boisbriand (east/QC), ending with .97 so most probably in clearance.

Good tool for those trying to show they still care about their lawn. People with well maintained grass don't need this.

Had one and it broke within the first hour of use - one of the welds broke with caused the mechanism to seize. Of course they took it back no problem though.

I wonder if my neighbour would get the hint if I left this on his doorstep...

Nike Air Monarchs best shoe ever, they changed the glue up for the soles and they have been squeaking for the last 10 years. Got so annoying I had to change over to New Balance 623's.

Have a weed puller already but next time in will pick one up, mine is pretty old can use a replacement.

Bought mine a few years ago and have used it hundreds (no joke) of times. Rock solid and takes a beating. Don't try to weed when your ground is super dry and ultra compacted (ie no rain for more than 1-2 weeks) and you'll be fine. Almost feel like getting a spare just in case!

Re: holes, just remove the sod from around the weed and stuff it back in.

I bought two of these and both broke. There is a screw that eventually breaks over time making it useless. Same problem both times. I recently bought a screw at home depot for a less than a $1 and looks like it may work again but I haven't really tried it yet.
