[Costco] Apple iPads 32GB ($349.97) or 128GB ($499.97) on Clearance

Just saw this on Costco.ca browsing the "Going, Going, Gone" section. Prices may be similar or lower in warehouses.

You need to login to see member only pricing:

Apple iPad, A10 Chip, Wi-Fi, 32 GB, Space Grey, Gold or Silver $349.97
Apple iPad, A10 Chip, Wi-Fi, 128 GB, Space Grey, Gold or Silver $499.97

Seems like decent deals.

The Source has 32GB for the same price in case you don't have membership.

iPadOS comes out September 30th also.

Anyone know if you still get free apple tv subscription for a year if you buy older hardware like this iPad?

Which devices are eligible to receive 1 year free Apple TV+?
Any iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD, or Mac purchased after September 10, 2019 and capable of running the latest version of iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, or macOS is eligible. Both new and older (refurbished) models purchased at an authorized retailer qualify, including devices from the iPhone Upgrade program. This offer is not restricted to any specific sales channel (e.g., Apple Store, resellers) and will be available in all countries and regions where Apple TV+ will launch.

If you just need a basic tablet, definitely check out Amazon's Fire, on sale for $75 for the 8", or $155 for the 10". I picked one up, it's a great option if you don't need a lot of apps or a good quality camera. It's definitely a hot fire sale.

The newer ipad just got announced. Might be a bad time to buy an ipad right now.

edit: scratch that. same processor, only difference is a 0.5 inch screen increase and smart keyboard capability.

Still charging too much for the small storage upgrade. I bought one of the 32GB ones last november for same price ($349). The battery is dying on it now, I need to have it replaced through Apple because unfortunately Costco only exchanges them in the first 90 days now.

If you're a Microsoft Office user, Office is free to users with screens 10.1" or smaller. It costs money to use if your screen size is larger.

We'll have to wait to see if they make an exception for the new iPads.
