is it a good idea for carplay with 128g music storage? or can it be a dash cam?
For $200 you can get a couple really good dash cams that would have a far superior picture, and far wider lens.

Streetsville, Missis…
Damn, Quebecers always get good pricing on tech.

And lol, imagine being so confused that you think the Galaxy A10’s processor (Exynos 7884) is better than the iPhone SE. The A9 in the SE even runs circles around the Galaxy S8 and Note 8, and I’ve noticed this especially with when it comes to certain games. Apps are just better optimized for iPhones, even Google Maps.

A phone with NVMe storage for $200 is a damn good buy. Great as a backup phone or for the kids. Or as an iPod Touch. That’s what I do with mine and I’m looking forward to a jailbreak

I hope this is available in Nova Scotia. Thanks OP

Halifax Costco had some up until last week, then some dude picked up the last 10 or so. It would be safe to assume that the same guy would have made sure that Dartmouth Costco is clean too.

It is actually the form factor and usability that is the issue. Screen sizes have been too small and now they are moving in the wrong direction. long, thin 2:1 or 2.5:1 aspect ratio?
Who watches movies on smartphones? Even 65" TVs look small after you have watched movies on a projector.

This deal is amazing for people with small hands. Anna Kendrick still uses an iPhone SE because of that.

This deal would be super lava hot if it included a date with Anna Kendrick.

So...you don't care about a much better camera, better battery life, future software updates, better screen, faster CPU, more RAM, expandable storage + that free included SD card, and the ability to use any charger?
One should not buy a Samsung device, especially a non-flagship phone, on the expectation that they will receive "future updates". They're likely to, of course - but Samsung hasn't had the best track record over the years.

BTW: the upcoming iOS 13 release is compatible with the iPhone SE (but not the older iPhone 5S). Not bad for a phone that came out in March 2016.

I can use any charger I want with any of my iPhone or Android devices (just need a lightning to USB cable, which the phone comes with). As for all the other hardware advantages you mention, that might be interesting if someone wants a phone solely for the hardware specs. But many people don't - they want a phone because of the software it will run. Maybe the original commenter likes iOS over Android? Maybe they have an app they *need* to run that just isn't available on Android (eg: in my case, the lack of a good alternative to DevonTHINK precludes me from switching to Android full-time). Then there's the physical size - today's handsets are giant, the iPhone SE is svelte.

Different strokes for different folks. It isn't all about the raw specs. And just because somebody chooses a different platform/product than you doesn't invalidate your choice either. To each their own. It's a nice phone, and a better deal than picking up a "refurbed" one from some 3rd party fixit shop.

That should violate the terms of your membership honestly.

Why? Costco is all about bulk, don't see how buying 10 phones could be considered at all an issue, or contrary to what Costco is meant for. 1000 phones? Maybe. 10? Nope.
