Stopped by a Costco warehouse in Edmonton South. Spotted this one on sale—probably clearance. I suppose it should be on clearance at most of the warehouses?
I searched for this model on Costco website but it only shows the current gen Apple TVs (2022). I’m not sure if it’s a hot deal or not, though.
The $135 model is A2169, supports up to 4k60hz, a12 chip, has Ethernet port, 64GB storage. Compared to the current gen 64GB model, it doesn’t have the a13 chip but does have Ethernet port so that’s a plus. Maybe it lacks some minor features here and there that I don’t know of, but I have been pretty happy with the 2021 model that I have been using for a year.

Well it’s the 2021 model so yes, it’s the previous gen Apple TV 4K but it’s not the 1st gen which came out in 2017 running an A10X. Unless you’re gaming on your ATV, the A12 is plenty fast for streaming. This one even comes with a gigabit Ethernet port unlike the new entry level model. Also, it can serve as a Thread border router. $135 is a pretty sweet deal if you can find it.
