Natural price drops for products with planned obsolescence but it's a very hot deal regardless of the rant. If we didn't just blow a grand on photo sessions would've been able to jump on this easy.

Awesome. If I was in the market for a laptop, I might have gave this consideration.
Rule 1 of RFD: Do not talk about RFD.
Rule 2 of RFD: Do NOT. talk about. RFD!

It should be a crime to sell laptops with french keyboards outside of Quebec.

FYI YMMV, the store has to have physical units in stock to get your price adjustment. And price adjustments only within 30 days for most stores. Depends who you talk to ultimately.

There's a reason why the price dropped like that...

Some might find it usefull, but for me...the laptop format make it less portable than a 14in tablet with detachable keyboard, if needed.

I strongly agree and will never buy one with this bilingual crap. Manufacturers are trying to save few dollars to please everyone with one model fits all concept.

Sooner or later, we won't have any French keyboards outside of Quebec. It will be Chinese and English. Saw a Tylenol coupon in CHINESE AND ENGLISH.
GNC had a HUGE poster saying "BUY ONE GET ONE FREE" in CHINESE and nothing else.

Bilingual is okay, but 4gb RAM and sub-fullHD screen are true crimes!

Love Asus Ultrabooks when they work they way they should.
My UX305CA has been trash since I upgraded mine to Win10 (originally win 8) though.

I don't know about you but Canada is a bilingual country and we should be able to be served in both official language. It is already incredible hard to find french services in Ontario, students have to take a 1-2 hours school bus trip to get to their french school, I always ask for french service at Service Ontario but most of the time, they don't have anyone. Doug ford just cut the french university funding and many other french services. So whenever I see a laptop with bilingual keyboard, it makes me smile. And no, I don't want to move to Quebec, I grew up in french here in Toronto, now I have a really good career with the government in french.
