Apparently lots of boot issues. Been laptop shopping to replace a 4-yr old one that's dying and am finding that execution is almost as important as specs. So different from desktops!

Thanks op, been eyeing this for a while but couldn't justify at previous base price point of $2k. Same discount also exists on Amazon if anyone has GCs or something.

Ordered tried tested and returned two units already.. good on paper, not so on reliability..

not sure why this is downvoted, it's extremely hard to find a good ryzen 7 6800u laptop in canada let alone a high end discounted model at significant discount

I got my Lenovo Z13 in the summer for less than this, with a slightly better ryzen 7 processor and 32GB of RAM. This is an ok deal, but you can do better.

I have to disagree based on my experience with Lenovo Z13 OLED ($1680+tax for 16gb/256gb - 10% rakuten - -$100 Amex offer - $100 back from Lenovo after some nagging), been using it for 1 month now (started RMA today). I tried this Zenbook in Oct when it was on sale for $1799, returned only due to price diff.

Both are great laptops but I only get 6hrs on Z13 with all minimal settings vs 7.5 hrs to 8hr on Zenbook
Zenbook has better screen size vs Z13 - Lenovo looks a bit small for 13".
The most imp factor, for me, was w.r.t basic gaming - 6800U on this Zenbook performs better on sustained GPU load whereas 6850U in Z13 slows down after 30mins of gaming.
My Custom Z13 had only 16GB and 256GB while Zenbook has 1TB.
Zenbook comes with USB adapter but for Z13 i had to order a separate adapter.
Zenbook is also a bit lighter but i like overall build quality and pseudo leather top on Z13.

Decisions..Decisions..

Hope this helps for anyone comparing these two.

How would this pair with an LG C2 42" as an external monitor? Can it output 4k 120hz through one of the USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports?
