[Costco] Blueair Pure 121 Air Purifier (Ontario Only) - $325

Anyone looking for a top rated Air Purifier, Costco has a great deal. The 121 from Blueair is on sale for $299, but you also get the Ontario energy rebate, which makes the air purifier approx $225.

This is the same air purifier as the 211, but larger fan which covers a larger area. Consumer Reports has the Blueair 211 as their top rated air purifier and Wirecutter ranks it high as well. This is a great price for a large area air purifier.

FYI - Originally the Ontario rebate wast not showing up for this product, i called Costco yesterday and CS told me this product was not eligible as per the manufacturer. I checked today, and the rebate is applicable now.

The sale is over....but the rebate still applies

Amazing price on a highly reviewed unit.

Filters look pricey though.

Weird, I logged in and added the item to cart but I still see 299+tax.

Edit:
I think adblock was screwing things up for me.

Yes about $110 on Amazon. They say to replace every 6 months if you run it 24/7, but ive read it still performs well past that mark. Look at wirecutters ratings for it. I imagine if you run it only during the day, and another smaller air purifier like the Blueair 411 in the bedroom during the night, it can last a year.

Thanks...in for 1 . Live in a high rise condo and I find smells last even with the window open 24/7. And having the windows open 24/7 means more pollution comes in. Hope this helps,

The wirecutter recommendation (CoWay) is about the same cost ($220) on Amazon.
Official filter is $65 once a year.
Third party filters are only $20.

I ordered one but haven’t received it yet.
It just works out to be cheaper in the long run.

I was looking at that one as well, cheaper in the long run, but the 121 can cover a larger area. Also keep in mind, the CoWay performance degrades significantly on low/medium fan speed compared to the Blueair 211/121. CR did a head to head comparison.

Coway vs Blueair
