Lucky for me. I've just been tracking this one got the last 4 days and was able to snag one today.

The only thing that is a concern is the weight but I hope it is manageable

Had my wife, her sister and some of my kid’s on it, all at the same time. As long as you inflate it properly to 15psi and stay under the 500 pound weight limit, it’s very fun. The seats are removable (they clip on). So you have the best of both works, a paddle board and kayak and the paddles can convert to the dual flap kayak ones or the single paddleboard/canoe type of paddles.
You need 2 people to carry it around once it’s inflated. It weighs more and is longer than the single person board. It’s not cheap but it’s a quality product.

Couldn't find the single board, thankfully, because it would have meant that I would have had to buy 2.
It wasn't cheap but I guess you can say that buying one of these saved me money. Face With Stuck-out Tongue And Tightly-closed Eyes

Wow I am surprised you got that many people to fit lol, looks really fun. Make sure you all have life jackets though, looks like some of the passengers on that didn't have any ;)

bought this inflatable off amazon earlier in the month, just wondering if this board is more fun than the kayak? I havn't had time to try the Intex explorer yet and when I got it the price is about 175, just wondering if the price difference is worth it.

I returned my Intex as it’s too much of a hassle to set up, got the Performer 11 instead. There are 7 compartments to fill on the Intex versus 1 on the SUP. I planned to go SUP every weekend for fitness during the summer and being able to park, inflate, and be on the Burrard Inlet in 15 min is worth the price.

For camping and occasional use, Intex might be fine.

I've been using this for the last 2 years. The price nowadays is ridiculous as I paid $125 for it and it wasn't even on its lowest.

I use a Ryobi inflator and it's a breeze to set it up. This paddleboard is heavier that the Explorer K2 by a kilo and then you add accessories (pump, paddles, etc). That is something to be kept in mind before getting a paddleboard this size.

But from the videos I've seen, this paddleboard seems more fun and is definitely faster than the Explorer K2. I'm not sure if I'll sell the K2 after this paddleboard arrives, as Explorer K2 is one of the best entry level inflatable recreational kayak.

We have this and the Body Glove sup, everyone preferes the sup. It's more fun and easier to use. Kids love jumping off of it.
Bought them both for Christmas. Will be getting another sup in the future.

Which Ryobi electric pump should I buy to go with this SUP? I hope I don't need a separate adapter. I tend to lose those little suckers...

Anyone use this in the Vancouver beaches? Curious what it was like vs lake use which is generally calmer..

I used this in comparitively speaking sea state 10, and a regular SUP was perfectly fine

I wouldn't go on any of the beaches around vancouver though. Especially false creek area

Jericho is pretty good as it's more sheltered from both directions (breakwater to the west, marina to the east). We've tried Locarno a couple of times since there's more free parking, but it's brutal if tide is low, and definitely more wave action. Mornings and evenings are typically going to be calmer too. Definitely not ideal, but it's nice to get out without having to drive super far!

We went to horshoe bay last week, and whytecliff park was super awesome to paddle around.
