[Costco] Braun ThermoScan 5 Ear Thermometer with Back Light Display $34.99 ($20 off)

Good price for this and also a perfect filler if you are looking to spend $1000 dollars on their new voucher promo but you are just a liitle short.

$70+ at most other retailers

Same question, might have to hit up Costco to find out. Had one of these and lost it on a trip. Was same age as my oldest at 12 but still worked great.

We have one of these from Costco and it's been about 10 years now.

It's been used a lot and still working to this day. My wife was actually talking about getting a new one if it was ever on sale for the "Just in case it stop working" moment.

She actually bought one of those forehead thermometer a while back @ Costco and returned it. After several test we still found this braun was way more accurate.

Thanks OP!

Great price and we really like ours, can't see any faults.
I just clean plastic lens filter with alcohol before each use but then we only have 1 9m old and this sees sporadic use.

Great for babies and kids, got one when we had our first and still on the same set of 2xAA batteries that came with it and it's been almost 8 years so they last forever. We still haven't used the original 3 pack of the ear-piece covers that came with thermometer, we only switch it when a different person uses it or we use wipe it down with alcohol as suggested above.

Yes. Our family doctor, walk-in clinics and kid's pediatricans all use Braun Thermoscans in their offices.

Perhaps a dumb question, but would there be any concerns using this on a newborn? Will the tip fit in their ear?

These are not accurate for newborns until at least 6 months old. Need to use traditional ones inserted from the bottom.
