[Costco] Brondell Swash 1000 Bidet Toilet Seat $449

I know the RFD community seems to be hot to trot on these bidet systems and I am not even going to try to sell this product to the personal care aficionados as I have no interest but it seems like a good deal and this brand comes up alot as one of the leaders.

Just bought the bio Bidet 6800, and it’s amazing! I got the round one but it doesn’t fit my toilet that great. Can anyone recommend a toilet that it would fit perfectly or close to perfect?

I bought one 4800 & one 6800 but my toilets are too small so I bought 2 new Kohler toilets from HomeDepot, one Cimmarron one Elmbrook, both elongated, loves them.

Have one. Going strong with no problems 2 years later.

It has a good warranty. How did your return/repair go?

I've had mine for 7 1/2 years, no problems. I can't imagine life without it. Think I'm exaggerating? Try it and you will never go back to TP alone. You have been warned, oh you poor, ignorant member of the unwashed masses.

In all seriousness though, if you are getting older or are carrying more weight than you should be (as StatsCan tells us most of us are), this is an essential hygiene product.

Are all these extra bells and whistles worth it for the higher end models? Like does 2 wands really make a difference over 1?

Need to get one for my parents

Two stainless steel wands are worth the investment for hygienic reasons. Heated seats are quite nice if it’s cold where you live. Air dryer is next to useless.

Couldn’t get it fixed cause they claim it was ‘wear and tear’ - google it and you’ll find a number of similar stories.

I bought the Brondell Swash SE400 at WalMart.ca for $241 on Black Friday and I'm very impressed with it. Took 20 mins to install and the features are top-notch.

Weird. So they paid for shipping to their warehouse? And back to you?
How could it be wear and tear? What broke? Could you escalate the issue?

It's a $500 product. Definitely worth pursuing the issue.

Something doesn't add up. If it's "normal wear and tear" then for certain it's under warranty as long as you're within the warranty period. They certainly can't claim leaking is normal.

I described the leak and they said it wasn’t covered.

It’s exactly the same type of leak described in the video -

Keep in mind mine was the s1000 not the s300 in the video

Any recommendations re: toilet to perfectly match swash 1000, preferably elongated version?
Unfortunately, my water tank does not have enough clearance to the bidet, so the front of swash 1000 runs over.
Hence, I am considering to upgrade the toilet and make it perfectly fit swash 1000.

Any bidet options that aren't so "chunky" looking?

This video is amazing... Mine leaked after 4 years, but Brondell wanted me to send it back to them at my own expense. I ended up buying a new one.

If it happens again, I'll know the cause!
