Much better than the $4 dollarama shears. Purchased a set for spares.

If it’s their sub-brand with the single stick figure, then it’s nothing special really. They have knives for $15 or less

I suspect these are from the budget brand

Bought a set. Thanks!

Are those single man or double men though? Where are those manufactured? Can't find those details.

The protruding metal near the handles acting as a bottle opener / prying tool looks like it would make your grip uncomfortable.

Looks like it’s single. Zoomed in on the photo

Henckels International = single man, crappy brand
Zwilling = twins, high end brand

$10 per chinese-made scissors is not a hot deal at all, IMO.

Ah...Thanks! One more item to return :(

I don't like the protruding ends either, might hurt someone by accident.

Guys, expecting 3 German made shears for $30 is really unreasonable.

It’s selling out fast, down to less than 40 now
It totally depends on what your needs are and if you know how to properly use these tools.
For the price, $10/pair and the features and Costco return policy, I would give it a try.
And I’ve had brand name ones over the years, they all had various issues and eventually became unpleasant to use. I don’t mind acquiring a one man set at this price point for backup. And I like those protruding metal for small kitchen tasks :)

Got the global shear and chef knife set for $99 at costco. The shears are amazing and i use it daily. I'd suggest maybe spending $50 to get a really solid pair of shears vs $30 on a set of throw aways.

The set you’re talking about is $199 (Costco doesn’t carry anymore) and the individual shear is $99.

Also the type and purpose for the shears are completely different.

Even the zwelling 2man shears are junk made in China now. Zwelling pots and pans are junk, and even a lot of the knives are not made in Germany anymore... this company is driving their brand into the dirt imo.

Edit: These are sold by Costco so you don't have to deal with the absolute crap customer service (weeks to reply to emails/warranty claims) from this company, and at this price they will be better then dollar store stuff atleast.
