A Spice Affair Exotic 12 pack spice

Deal Link:
Retailer:

I was looking for some cooking seasoning and found this new product on costco.ca (exclusive online). reg price at vendor's website @ 163 (sale for $99). Costco has it now for $56.99 (regular price)

Never tried this brand but excellent review on quality of the spice and ANOTHER LOCAL CANADIAN COMPANY!

You may argue it's not a deal, but OP has a point if you were shopping at the regular site and then wanted to find a deal. It may not be time constrained but... I dunno, I could see myself appreciating this post if I was in the market for it.

We've also seen stuff listed here at regular price but because it's hard to find in stock, and the threads became popular. (I'm thinking of exercise stuff during early pandemic times)

These spices are kinda crap, and too expensive for what you get. These are the kind of spices you find in extremely overpriced kitch stores in small town boutiques. They aren't meant to be eaten as much as they are meant to be gifted.

That's too bad that they aren't meant to be eaten. They should really let customers know. /s

If you're a serious cook, you will blast through a 100 gram jar of pepper, lol. I mean, we're a deal site here, right? We're looking to get stuff for cheap?
These spices are just basic, bulk spices, chucked into nicer designer jars.
That's it. You're paying triple the cost for a jar.

Really, these are meant to look pretty on your shelf. I have a few of these that I refilled with better spices. I just wouldn't buy the original again.

Each bottle works out to about $4.75 which isn't a terrible deal for a bottle of spice, but because it comes as a package with a bunch of stuff you will probably never use, it's a pretty bad deal.

Spices can easily be had a lot cheaper without even really looking: https://www.amazon.ca/365-Everyday-Valu ... C82&sr=8-6
and you don't get stuck with a bottle of "bruschetta mix"

I would skip this even if I saw it at $9.99 in a SDM clearance bin.

Personally I like these sets to throw up at the cottage or trailer for easy meal seasonings. Yes I agree spices can be much cheaper, and I wouldn't buy this for home, but it's a good deal for what it is. Upvoted OP.

You would not believe the amount of targeted ads I'm getting for this company because I clicked on the link in the first post to see how expensive they are.

Warning: Only visit their site if you're in incognito mode or have ads disabled. Yeesh.

so a markup of like 90% because they put them in little glass jars for you...
