It could be last time when they were giving $25/$50 online vouchers with the GofM. Even though it was written on the back 'good for new memberships and renewals' some people had trouble using it for renewals.

They sell tote bags 4 for $7 so getting a single one is a horrible bonus. Better to wait for a Groupon / Tuango deal on the membership.

I don't think these are the ones that they give you. I think it's a cloth bag but it's still not a great bonus.
