For anyone who’s interested on the south shore of Montreal, I bought a set from St-bruno store on Friday, and there were 2 dozens left at Boucherville as well. Not high end of anything, but better than the ones I’ve seen at Asian grocery stores.

Just got them with this deal. Apparently they’re not western style “Meat Cleavers”, so not particularly heavy. Instead they’re the eastern versions of the western chefs knife, or so YouTube tells me

I bought them for 60 last year and for the price of 40 definitely worth it, even at 60 I think they are pretty solid.

Super sharp. 1 piece which is a bonus, not 2 piece (handle n blade)

I bought these at regular with their knife block set and am happy with them.

I've owned mine for a bit now and @ $40, these are a steel (excuse the pun)

Love them and I might grab a set or two for Christmas gifts for people. Great set. I like that they're all one piece, not overly heavy, and these things come sharp. Be careful.
I got kicked out of Chapters because I moved all the Bibles to the fiction section.

Anyone seen these on the west coast? Never seen them at the Langford store
Please don't ask or beg for "thanks". Don't act like this is Facebook. If someone found your post helpful, let them decide if they want to make that click. The more you beg, the less you'll get. Cheers

You may, but rule of thumb is always use the spine to break the bone, never the edge. Face Savouring Delicious Food
