I'm struggling to think of the reason why anyone would want a 2-pack of these. I have one, and like it, but would never think of getting another

I’ve used the older version selphy for events, dual printers helps with printing photos for the guests to take home. Great deal OP, will be upgrading my printers for future events!

I just did this over the holidays and framed them for my guests right away to take home.

No, but what's old is new again - Polaroid cameras are popular again too, so shouldn't be much of a surprise?

CP1500 came out in September so Costco is clearing stock. Good reviews if you need it

People love this stuff; you're either no fun at parties or don't go to them IMO.
Alcohol/Cannabis + Photo booth = Hilarity for all except the photo booth operators.

In any case, a refill kit is 90$ for ~200 pics. No thanks, it's the expected razor model.

Visions has a better deal, IMO.

You can get the CP1300 along with the KP-108IN or RP-108 ink/paper for $158

CP1300 Black w/ KP-108IN
CP1300 Black w/ RP-108

CP1300 White w/ KP-108IN
CP1300 White w/ RP-108

The difference between the KP-108 and the RP-108 is that the RP-108 is high-capacity, so comes with two cartridges instead of three. Both will print 108 photos.

Then you can get more refills from 123ink.ca for cheaper than the Canon brand: Moustache KP-108IN, 1pk - $39.99, 2pk - $69.99

Ya not sure where your attitude is coming from, only suggesting a use case for these printers. Some people just prefer to get a physical copy of a photo they can stick on their fridge or somewhere instead of a digital one on their screens. Seems like most people on here agree. Oh well, enjoy your holidays! Cheers

Thanks for this, so are there other consumables required for this ? Like the paper? If so, what else and where do you recommend to get it from ?

You know what? You're right. I much prefer the weddings that have photobooths where people take a picture, and then spend three full minutes typing in their email address on the iPad because they don't know where the @ button is.

Paper and ink come together in those packs. Each pack has enough ink for 108 prints, and they come with 108 sheets of 4x6 paper.

Thanks, OP and Crimson Flash. Combo of printers from Costco and ink/paper from 123ink seems like the best value (provided you can sell the second printer or plan on gifting it). The ink/paper is currently on sale for $58.99 for the 2-pack, which seems like a great deal. Works out to 27 cents per print, plus tax. I ordered 2 2-packs so I can print out a hella lot of pictures at my baby shower this summer.

Our department used these just in December for our holiday party. We had a winter themed holiday photo booth with a bunch of props. Proceeds went to charity.

With over 100 people at the party, you need at least two of these printing non-stop. We pulled in a few hundred dollars after cost of supplies.

People who thinks nobody prints photos have probably never worked with Gen Y or Z (especially female) coworkers.
