[Costco] Casper Queen Mattress $799.99 (YMMV)

Found this while walking around at Heartland Costco in Mississauga.

Not sure if other locations have the same deal.

Price is $799.99 plus HST

Are these any good? My wife and I were just laying on one this afternoon in The Bay and we liked the feel. They were selling them for 1199 though for the queen.

I'm no mattress expert but my friend has a casper and one side has become squishier than the other. (Don't know how old it is but over a year that's for sure)

I heard and read these were different than the Casper original. Does anyone know what exactly is different?

Queen is too big for me. They had no other sizes? A double?

All these Internet brands for mattress seem like a fad IMO. Am I wrong?

I have a Douglas and it's the best bed I've slept in. No issues so far. Been a year so can't speak to longevity. It does have a 10 year warranty.

That's good but in terms of the mattress itself what makes it different than the traditional mattress brands?

We bought an Endy and sent it back. Way too much give. We needed something much firmer.

I think this might be the Essential casper, no?
according to this reddit post its the same as the standard

"Thanks for reaching out to Casper! Good news - the model we sell through Costco is actually the exact same 4-layer, 12" model we call the Casper on our website. Costco is able to sell that mattress to their members at a much lower price, but the construction is identical to our classic all-foam Casper!"
