Costco's shipping and free return pickup is well worth spending the extra $10 from online IMO. That said, it's $10 cheaper in store.

Do you have to bring the mattress in-store if you decide to return it?

If you buy online then they do a free pickup for returns (you don't need to put it in the box, just wrap it in the plastic it came in).

If you buy in store then you have to arrange a in-store return.

FYI I have bought three 3 mattresses from Costco online and returned two. Great service.

Anyone knows how this compares to Polysleep?
They’re both quoted as “medium firm” but the reviews on this seem to indicate a much firmer feel

Thanks op, after using a memory foam pillow, which is life changing, was waiting for a sale on a king memory foam mattress. Perfect timing

I got the queen a while back. To be honest the mattress is not too bad, but there is a smell that i cannot get rid of (potentially VOC?)

I even removed the cover and washed it, aired out the room, ran fans, and it still smells like new material.. Its been around 6 months already and the smell is still there.

Kept it anyways, but just warning.

What is the difference between the "Original" mattress sold directly by Casper vs. the "Select" mattress sold by Costco?

EDIT: From an online review:

"The Casper Original is made of three foam layers and measures 11 inches tall. According to a PR spokesperson, the Original has cooling features that aim to prevent you from overheating at night. However, in my experience it wasn’t the coolest. It wasn’t terribly warm, but I wouldn’t say it’s cooler than any of the other mattresses we’ve tested either.

The Select, in contrast, is 12 inches tall and contains four layers of foam. Despite its relative lack of cooling features per the PR person, this mattress felt consistently cool in the weeks I spent sleeping on it. I never woke up feeling as though it was cooking beneath me—and that’s really saying something, seeing as I had it during two Northeast heat waves when overnight temperatures didn’t dip below the low 70s."

Is this firm? I am looking for firm mattress but isn't sure which one is right. I want to buy from Costco for the reason that if it isn't firm enough I could return it. Asking for feedback on firmness since it is difficult to gauge from online reviews.

I would say this one is fairly soft, I've only compared it to an Endy mattress which is more on the firm side. This one is thicker in size compared to an Endy, so it seems more fluffy.

It’s listed as medium-firm, but it’s certainly medium-soft. (We have three). Still, at this price, they’re great value.

How does Casper compare to slightly higher-end memory foam mattresses like Novosbed?

It's rated around 7 (softer firm) which is a bit more on the firm side but comfortable. Definitely not soft.

Seems like a good price. My 3 layer foam queen was 750 after discount from another brand. Casper's Original is over 1k everywhere else. Thumbs up
