[Costco] Casper Select Memory Foam Mattress - Queen $180 off

$180 off coupon until May 29th. Pre discount price is $869 online, $849 in store.

I've had my eye on one of these for a while, might pull the trigger now, $712 taxes in, in Alberta.

Really good mattress, I bought one last year.. and I have ZERO regrets!
FYI: I went from a traditional Sealy $3000+ mattress to the Casper.

What is your opinion of the firmness? Any body impressions after a year?

I think warehouse would be cheaper, but ordering online offers free curbside pick ups for returns - which is probably worth the $10-$30 price difference that the warehouse would offer.

I bought the Queen size last year and have been happy with it so far.

The only thing i will say is that the chemical smell form the mattress lingers for quite some time.

I still notice it when I strip the bed to wash the sheets.

No other complaints whatsoever

Traditional Coil Spring Mattresses in general are marked up minimum 700%, and could go as high as 2500%. Depends on the Manufacturer.

I don't have a login, but have a friend that could bring me to the store to buy. Could someone please tell me the cost of the double/full size with the discount?

True that, easy to tell when I worked at a furniture store and staff price was on average 50% to almost 70% off, and the last time I saw a sheet of store cost for furniture specifically which has roughly the same discounts, store cost was an additional 25% to 75% off from staff price.
A sofa chair I bought in 2012 ran for $799, was $214 staff price and $70 store cost, over 1000% markup.
Since then I was able to justify buying tools, hardware, paint and clear coat and just try and build some furniture myself, I end up with very decent looking, seriously overbuilt stuff with brand new tools and still saved money in the end, that's how bad it is.

I bought this 25 months ago. Really liked it for the first 18 months or so. The firmness was great. Now it sags where my wife and I sleep. It's good when we initially get in, but when the foam warms up from our body heat it sags where you're sleeping, so you're stuck in that spot, making it difficult to change positions or get out of bed.

I sleep on an Amazon 12" foam mattress.

Very satisfied.

These hybrid foam mattresses are great.

It's taken 150 years, but mattress margins are finally coming down.
I aim to be inclusive and considerate of others in my posts. If I fall short of that mark, feel free to let me know in good faith, and where appropriate, I'll edit my posts. Thank you.
