[Costco] Chamberlain B1381C Corner to Corner Lighting LED Wi-Fi Garage Door Opener PM HD for $359.99

Costco.ca is selling the Chamberlain B1381C Belt-Drive Garage Door Opener for $399.99. Most other stores sell for $479.99. I was able to PM at Home Depot bringing it down to $359.99. I already have one of these units and picking up another for my other garage door. I selected this unit for its bright LEDs. With Home Depot you need to order it online first at the listed price and call customer service with your order number to price match.

Note:
- while the LEDs should last many years, the replacement cost of each LED pod (041D2052) is $63.67 list and there are two
- the B970C may be a better deal if you prefer to just buy your own CFL/LED bulbs.

Features
- Features 3,100 lumen LED lighting to fill your entire garage.
- MAX lift power for heavier doors with a lift force equivalent to 1-1/4 HP*.
- Built-in Wi-Fi® enables smartphone control with myQ®.
- Open/close your garage door even when the power is out with Battery Backup.
- Includes wireless keypad for easy access to garage without remote or key.

i was about to say, why not just get B970C?

I install myself 4 LED tube from HD, https://www.homedepot.ca/product/commer ... ____583694_
4 * 3200lumen = 12800lumens, or 15$ * 4 = 60$.
Which one is nicer and brigher you think?

Great Post OP, thank you for sharing.

I have this in my primary residence, and the B970C in my other house. And I can tell you, there is no difference in performance and it's really $70-$80 extra youre paying for lights. I bought 3 of those LED lights from Costco that daisy chain together and it's lit up the garage like the 1st of July ($60).

Sorry for digging up the old post but I just got the B970C for $269 at Lowes when I price match with Home Depot $299.99 price. So if anyone want to get that, this is one of the lowest price I have seen.

I had purchased B970c but going to return it. This one looks nicer than the old lightbulb style one. Sure you can DIY led bulbs everywhere but it still looks like old tech gdo.

YMMV but if you're able to find the b1381c in stock at home depot it's scanning at $191. To keep a long story short I called to put the b970c on hold at a home depot in Mississauga and by accident the rep put 1 x b970c and 1 x b1381c on hold. When I asked him what the price difference was he said the b1381c was scanning at $191 so I bought it. I was able to have them ship a 2nd one to the store so I got 2 x b1381c for $191 each (reg $470). Will pm receipt if it helps anyone.
