[Costco] Chef’s Choice 3-stage Electric Knife Sharpener

It's the 1520 model.

Got one last week, I don't understand why I waited so long. My knives are now as sharp as the moment they came out of the box.

fyi did a teardown of the my unit to see if everything is working properly.

simple design, standard universal ac motor.

I found that the dressing tool for the polishing/dressing disk does not apply even pressure to the disks.
When opened up I gently pressed the dressing tool against the disk and visually confirmed when disks were white again.
Definitely not to be used too often as this will wear down your polishing disks.
