Mine finally arrived. Retail packaging inside of a new brown box. No funny reused box like other people were reporting.
I sharpened a couple knives with it. It does get the knife sharp enough to slice paper and shave hair, but the edge appears to be quite rough compared to sharpening with my King 1000/6000 whetstone. I also noticed stage 1 takes off a lot of material, so you shouldn't use it too often. After trying out the sharpener, I can see why Burrfection isn't a huge fan of the electric sharpener. Just my opinion but I wouldn't use this sharpener if I had any expensive knives. I'll be using it for my Amazon basics set and my beater KitchenAid knives, since it is easier to use the Chef's Choice vs using a whetstone.
