[Costco] Chevrolet/GMC/Buick Preferred Pricing + $500 Costco Cash

Costco preferred pricing with GM/Chev/Buick is back, but with more models to choose from. + 500$ Costco cash for doing a post sale survey
We can do the brand debate, new vs used etc, all day. This is hot for people buy or on the fence about buying because - pre-negotiated discounts, Costco's involvement generally means less BS, and bonus $500$ on top.

Some helpful specifics:
  • Trucks, SUVs, and Sports cars [Corvette and Camero] -- sorry folks no cars or EVs
  • In stock models only - no special orders, but they can pull inventory from other dealers still
  • Existing Costco Members Only "To qualify you must be a Costco member by July 2, 2019."
  • $500 Costco card can take up to 3 weeks, is electronic and can only be redeemed in the warehouse or Costco.ca - you cannot use it at the gas bar or for Costco Travel
  • Incentive stacks with most other available incentives
  • "Preferred pricing" is Dealer Invoice + 1.5%*

Fine Print:
How is my Preferred Price calculated, and do I have to pay any additional fees?
Preferred Price is calculated as follows: Dealer Invoice Price (before dealer incentives) + 1.5% of Equipped-MSRP*.

The following Additional Fees are NOT included in the Preferred Price and will be charged separately: advertising fee (1% of Equipped-MSRP*), $150 program participation fee, destination freight charge, $100 air conditioning charge, dealer administration/documentation fees (up to $200), tax, title (documentation), registration fee, insurance, additional products or services, personal property registry, any dealer trade fees, and license fees.

*Equipped-MSRP is defined as the MSRP of the model as purchased, including factory-installed optional equipment and LPO-Accessories, but excluding the Additional Fees as defined above.

Please see dealer for details.

Does anyone know what the "preferred" pricing is? Or is this one of those things where we have to go to the dealership to find out?

never mind found my answer:

Don't worry, they'll sell you a 1200$ rust prevention package that includes a little electronic rust prevention module ;) ;) ;)

When your vehicle rusts anyways, they'll deny your claim sighting some arbitrary fine print exclusion ;) ;) ;)

I think it’s the rough equivalent of Ford supplier pricing (I.e you work for a company that supplies GM with parts/ services)

Too bad no Toyota.
You won't see Toyota/Honda/Nissan participating in this Costco nonsense.

Not too bad of a deal really.

I have EPP (Employer Preferred Pricing) through my employer at GM and bought my 2016 GMC Sierra SLT All Terrain (MRSP of $64,XXX) and paid $50,XXX taxes in on the road (without a trade in).

I was able to negotiate even further....so the deals aren't that bad, really. You just have to get to the dealer at optimal timing. (end of month, end of year...when they are trying to make quotas, etc)

Thanks OP
Please don't ask or beg for "thanks". Don't act like this is Facebook. If someone found your post helpful, let them decide if they want to make that click. The more you beg, the less you'll get. Cheers

Seems like a new stripper Camaro could be had for less than $30k OTR in Ontario. I4 engine though.

Toyota has its own supplier purchase program . I believe it’s the same as dealer price

Currently those models are seeing 15 to 20 percent off already, not sure if invoice plus 1.5 is as good.
