This.

I like the Avocado Mayo from the same brand and also from Mark Sisson’s Primal Kitchen, but this coconut oil based mayo is absolutely horrible. Sadly, I bought two big containers of this stuff and am honestly not trying to breathe as I eat it. Lol

The keto people are the best.

I watched one guy at a party eat 50+ chicken wings one night cause he was "keto."

I wonder how many people in keto actually ever achieve a state of ketosis.

Most Mayo is made of Canola/Soybean oil. Most of them are GMO. Avocado Mayo might taste different (i like it) but its a lot healthier then regular.

This is the label for the one sold at my costco:

Yeah mate, it's just that I saw their Coconut Oil Mayo named as "Keto Mayo" before https://chosenfoods.com/products/keto-mayo

They do have an Avocado Oil as well https://chosenfoods.com/products/avocado-oil-mayo-12 which is likely the one you have.

It's fine as long as the number of carbs in it doesn't prove to be problem for you.

I've been on keto before and lost 100 pounds within a span of a year. As long as your consistent with it, you'll be able to see results.

Plenty actually, people can test with ketostix.

But it isn't just "keto people" you'll see this kind of behaviour in any "group", keto, paleo, vegan,.... But I'd say most of those are outliers.

Yeah, but I think OPs might be the other one.
That was my point. Most people never know if they’re actually achieving a state of ketones because they don’t even know you can test. Most people don’t know what it really means, and eating 50+ chicken wings in a sitting isn’t it.

But hey, if it helps you lose 100 lbs, go for it!

Exactly.

There's PLENTY of evidence that vegetable oils are terrible for your health and cause lots of inflammation.

Your point? I've tested myself after changing lots of variables in my nutrition - chicken wings never kicked me out of ketosis. I can even stay in keto after eating Costco's ribs In BBQ sauce, I just shave off the extra sauce from them before eating and it's all good. No fries though.

I personnally think most people could get the weight loss just by being low carb and not hitting actual ketosis. Won't get the other benefits of ketone bodies, though.

Pro-tip: make your own mayo with the Chosen Avocado oil from Costco with an immersion blender. Cheaper, fresher, delicious.
