Can you buy tickets Cineplex online with the voucher? Or do you have to redeem them in person?

I realized a long time ago that if you just buy the popcorn and drink separately you are saving almost $10, compared to a combo that comes the same but with candy. Ridiculous.

STC Cineplex is the best location, they have an unattended refill station, just refill as much as you want.

+1

For a while i was getting the combo because that's all they show on the menu. But i didn't want the candy. Then i found out you can buy the stuff separately, so I only buy popcorn now.

Regular sized popcorn comes to $7.90 tax-in. So this is still a decent deal if watching any day other than Tuesday.

Can you use your Scene card with this and get points for the admissions?

From a previous Theatre employee, this is the best deal to see a movie. There is an expire date on the back, but we 99% always over-ride it and allow it. 1% for the really bad guests who just start yelling at you. These also give scene points even though they shouldn't, so don't leave your scene card at home. And lastly, if you don't want to use the coupon. Just buy a medium drink + large popcorn and grab the candy from dollar store. (Medium drink = 1 medium drink + half a juice box, not worth 50cents, just ask for no ice in your medium drink and you're essentially getting a large.)

Unattended Freestyle machines are nice, but I've made Pickering Town Centre my go-to after years of being faithful to STC. Every auditorium has reserved seating and full recliners, even standard showings. I'm near Neilson and 401, so it's only an extra 5 minute drive and extremely worth it.

I’m guessing this probably has more to do with cineplex vs Costco. Maybe they asked for it to not be online because having it online would likely impact their sales or revenue.
They only had to make it Costco Member exclusive online like they already do for some items. I can't imagine Cineplex complaining about wholesale volume of business, I think Costco is trying to drive foot traffic into its stores with this decision. Costco doesn't believe in loss leaders.
