[Costco] Classic Adirondack Chair - $169.99 (3 colours in stock)

Not exactly a "deal", but patio furniture has been difficult to get throughout the pandemic.

Costco has Leisure Line Adirondack Chairs (finally) in stock. Made in Canada, 3 colours available.

Cheers

I apologize in advance but I can totally wait for it to go on sale and not get into panic buying.

If it doesn't ever go on sale/clearance, then that's okay. I'm an RFDer at heart - never paying regular price and only buying stuff at Costco marked with a green highlighter or ends at .97.

They had about 8 of these in stock in Kitchener last week for $149.99. They had some in grey for the first time. I grabbed two of these a couple of weeks ago for the trailer, they are very well made and look great out front. My only criticism is they sit a little low compared to the chairs the resort has around the pool, which are the same style. If they were about 4" taller they'd be perfect, but as it is they're about 1/2 the price of the resort chairs, and are great for sitting around the campfire, although after an hour so a seat cushion may be necessary.

Love these chairs, finally got some (only in red when I did) this year to replace my crumbling and collapsing plastic cheap muskoka chairs from 15 years ago. These things are really solid and leave them on the dock no matter the weather and haven't had any issues yet. They weigh a lot though and my older father doesn't appreciate moving them much but he can. I usually do the moving lol. Would advise to anyone who wants a high quality muskoka chair without having to deal with wooden ones and the maintenance involved.
RFD is love. RFD is life. I wish I had an RFDer for a wife.

Bought 2 recently in story for $150 each. Great chairs. Very solid and very comfortable. Perfect near the water where there are strong winds. Smooth so you can slide into them without snagging your clothes. Assembly was pretty easy, only in about 8 pieces.

Then why post this in the "hot deals" forum? "Shopping discussion" forum would have been more approriate, and possibly prevent you of drowning under tons of downvotes

Meh - they're $10 cheaper versus other retailers, and even cheaper in store as others have highlighted.

This is why people don't post, too many internet geeks caring about internet points.

Not to pick nits but muskoka chairs have a mildly different design, not quite as nice IMO. More squarish.

Anyways I bought some of these chairs 6 years ago, always been on my front porch all year long in all weather and still look brand new. They are fantastic! Very heavy as another commenter pointed out but that also makes them impossible to blow away in a big storm and harder to steal if that’s a concern. Zero maintenance.

I just bought 4 of these. They're awesome. I had the canadian tire/home depot 20 dollar chairs and they have crumpled after a couple of years. This are rock solid and heavy.

I was looking for these at Costco about two month ago and couldn’t find them in stock. I then found these at Canadian Tire for $89.99.

They are solid pine. Made in Canada. With 1-year warranty. The manufacturer is Bear Chair Company. Two chairs cost me $180 + some $35 Sico transparent stain and it looks pretty amazing. Glad I went down this route.

The issue with these is in 2 years the stain will need to be reapplied and eventually they die in several years (when you inevitably get tired of restaining them). It sucks to spend $150-170/chair but what you get for that is complete no-maintenance, and possibly many decades of use.

I did the same - I found something similar (or the same?) at costco and bought a bucket of paint.

But definitely will need to be painted again in a couple years.

Somehow these particular chairs are very uncomfortable. A very unnatural shape for your back. Not sure how they screwed it up. All of our guest have make the same comments -- the look is great, material is great, but not fun to sit in for more than a few minutes.

These don't last. Especially pine, the cheapest and softtest of the softwoods.

Great chairs .got two red and a white for summer cottage deck two weeks ago. Heavy enough that no worry about wind and extremely comfortable. Everyone loves them..adults ranging from 6' plus to 5' 6".
