Thank you OP - bought some! I was using steel plates that were wrecking my Olympic weightlifting bar D: if anyone is interested in buying steel/metal plates in the Toronto region hit me up! Willing to sell at $2/lb!

Any budget suggestions on storing the plates? My rack doesn't have plate holder.

I bought some floating shelf pegs and am using those to hold the plates on the wall. Alternatively if you google "home gym diy plate holder" you can find basic plans for an olympic plate holder you could build with a saw and some wood screws.

I made my own like this but with only bumpers.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I put a divider in-between each bumper to make it easier for me to drop in and take out.

Wicked price. Rubber bumper plates were at least $2/lb even pre-covid.
"Regular" price, but amazing price in this market!

It seems to come back every Monday for those that missed out.

And as I said, don't fret if you miss out. Costco or their partner vendor restocks every week. Just be patient and you'll get your set.

If you can't wait, try FB marketplace and get used bumpers.

I built this rack for my regular plates - just make sure you measure everything. Stencilled on some numbers because I'm extra like that.

I converted the shelf I built a while ago for my adjustable dumbbells and cast plates, into a bumper plate rack with a bunch of 1x6 dividers.
