[Costco] Costco.ca : Bosch 800 series dishwasher SHEM78W55N @ 1099.99 & Samsung 33in French Door fridge RF26J7500SR/AA @ 1699.99

Just bought a house and doing some appliance shopping.

I see Costco.ca has a great deal on a Bosch 800 series dishwasher for $1099.99 ($824.99 for Ontario residents), same model (SHEM78W55N) at Canadian Appliance Source for $1599.00.

https://www.costco.ca/Bosch-800-Series- ... 67738.html

Another good deal with a Samsung 33inch fridge at $1699.99, same model (RF26J7500SR) at Best Buy for $2,199.99.

https://www.costco.ca/Samsung-25.5-cu.- ... 13972.html

Not bad at all!

I heard Best Brand Appliance is having a private sale this weekend. You should see if they have that.

I'm in the market for fridges as well, and reading reviews of all fridges, whether it be Samsung/LG/Kitchenaid/Maytag/GE, etc makes them sound like they are the worse fridges ever built :(

Well, especially Samsung/LG lol

I get that things aren't made like they used to be, but hearing stories about fridges no longer cooling in less than 1 year is pretty pathetic

I'm trying to look for something without an external ice/water dispenser, and choices for those are starting to become very limited.

Don't forget... no one is going to price match the second year warranty and 90 day return policy.

Don't take this for granted people... this is a BIG purchase. If you decide to price match somewhere else... don't come back to red flags when your lemon is acting up and complain.

I bought the 39 dBA Bosch 800 series dishwasher for a new build for $1299, The house isn't done, nor have I accepted the appliances, should I cancel that for this one? I'd imagine they're pretty much silent as well. $400 difference seems like it's worth storing this in my basement for a few months.

Thoughts?

Anyone knows how does the Bosch 800 series match up against the Bosch 300 series?? From what I've been reading the 300 series is one of the best reviewed ones so far.

Anyone having any luck price matching anywhere, or seen it in-store? I'm now debating between this one and a Bosh 300 SHS63VL5UC for $800 at Lowes. Lasly anyone confirm that Ontario can get the extra 25%?

The 800 series is great, we love ours, 3rd rack is nice. Operates super quiet. and info light shines the remaining time on the floor.

Yes Ontario can get the extra 25% on this item, haven't tried price matching yet but even if they do I doubt they will also price the additional warranty and 90 day return policy.

Are dishwashers under the 30 day return at Lowes? I assumed they would be 90 days.

Based on what I'm seeing the biggest difference between the 300 and 800 series is that the 800 has an adjustable 3rd rack (standard 3rd rack for 300), a lower decibel level and additional types of wash cycles.

Curious to see how much of a sound difference the two models have, never had a Bosch before.

We purchased the 800 series Bosch SHV68T53UC four or five years back now and can also state it has been phenomenal, absolute quietest machine i have ever had I have to watch for the discrete little red LED light it casts on the floor to even know it's on. With an open concept renovation sound levels were a major concern, after getting this one however it is quiet as can be.

Lowes is 30 days on all major appliances - from what I can see Costco has the best return policy on these

https://www.lowes.ca/customer-service/l ... urn-policy

"Outdoor power equipment, major appliances and furniture purchases may be returned within 30 days of the date of receipt, with the original receipt."

You missed the below
For major appliances, see front of receipt for additional terms.
Might need to look into that... probably needs to be unUsed/ they charge restock/ you need to bring it back to a store yourself.

Costco - 90 days. the thing could have been through the Armageddon and no question return/ pick up out of your kitchen.

* EDIT, found this... needs to be new.
large appliances to be returned within 30 days. For a full refund to your original payment method, items should be in new condition and you’ll need to bring the receipt.
