[Costco] COSTCO.CA - Bosch Benchmark 800 series dishwashers - $1399.99 delivered, + 25% OFF in Ontario

Morning all,

My contractor brother in law just noted me in on this crazy deal on COSTCO.CA under their HOT BUY section.

https://www.costco.ca/bosch-800+-series ... 50964.html

https://www.costco.ca/bosch-800+-series ... 49946.html

Bosch Benchmark dishwashers are normally over $2,000!

https://www.canadianappliance.ca/produc ... N4QAvD_BwE

For folks in ONTARIO its $1,049 after ENERGY SAVINGS REBATE.

Dont forget, free shipping, 2 year warranty, 2% off if you are an executive card member and 90 day return policy included... Happy shopping!

This looks like an amazing dishwasher but is it significantly better than lower model Bosch dishwashers?

Yes. Very much so. Quieter and dry better.
I would not say they’re $400+ better than the normal 800 series though.

Bosch 800 series and benchmark share the same internals - check out a few parts diagrams. no reason to pay more.

I think the black Friday deal back in November was better. I got the 800 series with the required dishwasher hose (extra item) for $999 taxes in. So this isn't really that great a deal.
That being said the 800 series is a great dishwasher. Dishes are very clean, runs very quietly. The drying part isnt so great, this is one of the most common complaints for this dishwasher. This dishwasher doesnt use heating rods to dry, like many of her competitors. Instead it relies on jet dry. I suppose it earns more energy efficiency this way, but it sometimes is annoying when not all dishes are dry after a cycle.

Wrong model comparison (PW vs PZ)! CAS will accept to lower their price (in-store) when you show them the costco price.

I guess you got the cheapest of the 800 line. If you get the crystal version, there will be no complain about drying. I don't even use heat option for drying.

Nice find. Too bad wife told me I need to hand wash to while away the time. I use very little trickle/flow of water until I'm rinsing the dishware.

Please note Costco now only have threshold delivery and no haul away. I assume it's because of social distancing. I bought the 800 series back in Nov too and it was white gloves delivery and includes haul away.

It can be a deal breaker for some if your family doesn't have enough man power to move the dishwasher to the kitchen lol

No not worth paying 2x a series 300 or 500. Most recommended models are always the 300/500.
