[Costco] Costco.ca: Bridgestone tires 20% off on a set of 4 - Monday Sept. 7 only - NOW LIVE!!!

UPDATE:

DEAL IS NOW LIVE!!! https://tires.costco.ca/Home

As expected, it works for all Tires, not just winters

If you already had the tires in your cart prior to promo starting, if discount doesn’t show, remove them and re-add them. No coupon code needed.
***********

Did a search and it looks like this is not posted yet

Saw this in newsletter, will post link once it shows on their website. Right now they only advertise the $70 gift card deal online

Monday sep 7, online only, costco will have 20% off if you buy a set of 4 Bridgestone tires.

It looks like it won’t stack with the $70 gift card promo they have, however at 20% off the saving will be higher in most (if not all) instances.

Since it’s a bit early for winter tires:
You will have 14 days (if you go by the delivery notification email) or 21 (if you check online) to have them installed. After that, that may cancel the order and refund you. Someone mentioned the possibility of picking them up for installation at a later date.

Costco membership is now needed to purchase tires from them.

You can book online however I think tires must be received prior to booking

They usually keep them in the warehouse for 30 days before canceling the order and refunding you.

Also keep in mind they will take 1-2 weeks before they arrive to the warehouse. My recent order took 12 days to arrive

Seems like on Monday sept 7 you get 20% off ( one day deal) plus $70 rebate till sept 17. Seems pretty good deal.

The fine print for the $70 Costco card says it cannot be combined with any other purchase or promotion of Bridgestone tires.

When you buy tires from Costco (let's say these winter ones), can you swap them out for the summer ones even if you didn't buy the summer tires from them or do they check the tires you're installing were purchased from them?

No, it needs to be within 2 weeks. I need a set for my RAV4. Last year for my Legacy I bought in October when they had the free installation for the W90. I’m going to wait; I’m sure they’ll be something. By the way, the Subaru with the WS90s is a brute. It will go anywhere, and they are a little quieter and less squirmy than the WS80s they replaced. Can’t comment on treadwear after only 3000km.

Did the treadlife of the WS90s increase significantly over the WS80s?
PSAs
-Read store exceptions before combining discounts with cash back sites
-There is a difference between the words NEED (necessities) and WANT (desires). The word NEED is over-used on RFD and in society in general.

Buy a set of rims, get them to fit them there and change your own wheels going forward - so easy - save time, hassle and money.

I think that you can pick them up and take them home and have them installed later.

Ooh, I'm gonna need a set of snow tires for the new Stinger, this is tempting if a bit early.

From my experience, they do not offer free installation on promotion. And install is 80+tax, but this deal definitely save u over 120 bucks.
I could be wrong.

Promo or no promo, the installation is always on top of the tires (exception being when they do 1 cent installation, I’ve seen that at costco US).

When you add to cart the installation fee is automatically added

Yes, this stops freeloaders who don't pay for the annual membership.

Costco finally closed this loophole.
