Thanks OP. I’ve had the WS80’s for 4 winters on my Optima and could probably squeeze another year out of them, but I may just pull the trigger on the new ones.

I have tires mounted on rims I want to use with NEW tires.

I could be wrong.
The promo late last September (i ordered on 22nd) was buy a set of Bridgestones and receive free installation ($79.93 savings). No Costco gift card. I think I also mailed in a rebate form to Bridgestone but don't seem to have a record of it, unless they sent me a Visa gift card or something like that. They were installed October 9, which is not too early for Alberta. Total cost with tx for 205/60R16 was $604.79.

Edit: my spouse seems to recall us also getting a $70 Costco giftcard as well, but no rebate. Either way it was an additional $70 off.

I hear you, this is probably what you are referring to costco-70-costco-cash-card-free-install ... p-2314097/
Depending on the cost of the tires, might be around the same saving as 20% off. For my tire size, 20% is more savings.

Regarding the mail in rebate, as far as I know Bridgestone always lists Costco as an exception (no rebate). That’s why Costco offers the cash card which is same amount as the MIR

I bought a set of Bridgestone tires on August 9th. Can I match the price?

Thanks op. With this deal will save over $200 on Blizzak DMV-2 . Will be paying a little less than the cost 4 years ago for the same tire. Will have them mounted on Winter rims then swap them in by Nov 1.

Which winter tires are better on RAV4 hybrid, ws90 or DM v-2? City drives most of times and head Barrie for skis occasionally. Thanks

Is it only for winter tires or any Bridgestone tires available at Costco. Can someone please confirm.

I am almost certain this will be for all Bridgestone tires. The picture shows the winter ones but there is no restriction (including in the fineprint)

How do we get around so we are not forced to drive around with winter tires for Sept-October?

What's the consensus on the Bridgestone vs Michelin XI3?

The Michelins usually drop in price in September/October.

Someone suggested to have them mounted on rims, taken home and installed around november. But that means you need a separate set of rims, plus the tools to install them yourself.

I think this is pretty hot. Tires larger than 17" will run at least $1000 for 4 so you save $200 easily. No rebates come close to $200 for 4 tires.

I have the ecopias on my Sienna. After 4 summers (only - I use winter tires in winter) the tires are worn. Only about 50,000-60,000 km on them at most. Actually just went in to Costco to check a potential leak and they said the tires have to be replaced. Forgot to ask about the warranty (110,000 km). I definitely won’t buy Ecopias again.

Hope this helps.

DRIVEGUARD - $199
DUELER H/L ALENZA PLUS - $179
ECOPIA H/L 422 PLUS - $179

Family minivan target vehicle.
