Costco.ca: Cricut Foil Transfer Bundle $89.99

DIdn't downvote, but came to weigh-in. Not only were they going to force you to subscribe... it also meant that, for whatever reason the online service ceased to operate your device would also cease to operate in the way intended (when purchased).

Fortunately they decided to back down on what was just another BS cloud based service that isn't needed and is only there to regularly funnel money from people who have bought their product and want to use it (offline!).

So asides from being hurt from something that never went through, is this regarded as a pretty good deal?

Quick search shows Michael's has the tools with less foil material and so does walmart. This bundle comes with a lot of foil from what I can tell and would be the difference.

Just wondering if anyone has seen this in store also.

If you look at the materials included in the Costco bundles:

Cricut 3 foil transfer tool kit
24 sheets: Foil transfer sheets sampler, metallic, 10.1 cm × 15.2 cm (4 in. × 6 in.)
24 sheets: Foil transfer sheets sampler, jewel, 10.1 cm × 15.2 cm (4 in. × 6 in.)
24 sheets: Foil transfer sheets sampler, ruby, 10.1 cm × 15.2 cm (4 in. × 6 in.)
8 sheets: Gold transfer foil, 30.5 cm × 30.5 cm (12 in. × 12 in.)
8 sheets: Silver transfer foil, 30.5 cm × 30.5 cm (12 in. × 12 in.)

The value in USD from the cricut of the products mentioned above totals to 27.99 (on sale from 39.99) + 7.99 for the 24 sheet foils x 3 + 12.99 for the 8 sheets x 2 = 77.94 USD x 5% tax (that's how much % they charged me last time I ordered from cricut.com) it translates to $100.47 CAD. If I order from costco I'll get charged 13% tax, which brings the order to 101.69. One thing not factors in calculation is the shipping cost from cricut.com but they are doing an offer on orders $99+, code MAYSHIP. I would think it'd be easy for someone to spend another 20 bucks to get the free shipping. I was say this deal is warm at best.
