I bought these a few years ago from Costco.
Good quality tote bags.

Can anyone comment on the quality/sturdiness of these ones, comparing to the recent deal on similar unbranded totes from Home Depot?

Thanks!

I can't say about the other ones but these from Costco work well on my 18" wheels w/ tires and were much easier to carry with the carry strap than a bare wheel.

They fit up to 31" in diameter.

It's not based on wheel size, it's tire diameter.

I boght Kurgo Tire Totes at Costco warehouse a few years back. I also got a set of free tire totes from Audi dealer when I bought a winter set. Definitely helps in moving larger rims.

I think they're all made by Kurgo judging by inside the label, just with different colours and slight variation in materials per spec.

Can you actually hold them by the handle only or they would rip?

Bought 2, thanks OP.

I usually drag them 2 at a time in my wheelbarrow from the shed to my driveway.

Yes. I have them and haul my 19" wheels by the handle.

What's the point of these? I stack my tires and put oil on the steelies to prevent rusting. Would the oil on the steelie not go all over the tote?

Easier to move/carry your tires.
Don't get any dirt on your clothes while moving them.
Covers majority of the tire & rim for storage. The centre of the tote is open, so the middle of rim is exposed. This allows you to use a tire rack stand to stack your tires.
