Aluminum cargo bike with disc brakes for $500 , great deal, not sure why cargo bikes have traditionally been so expensive, even with low end frames and parts. Maybe a volume thing. Hopefully this will force the market down, at least at the bottom. fat bikes had the same issue for a long time.

Saw this on the site a couple of years back, but passed on buying it as I was unemployed and broke at the time.

I came to regret it later when I had to pay $400 in repairs on my current bike.

Seriously tempted to buy it.

That's only 3-4 lb more than a Yuba. You could buy a few of these for the price of one Yuba.

Other than the longer tail in dimension, can this be used in day-to-day commute?

Yes, but it's not light and the handling will be different. It should be less manoeuvrable then a typical bike. Probably fine for urban streets but not single track.

Thanks! Is this from your personal experience with this bike or just from glancing at the specs?

Thinking about getting one and putting our toddler on the back. Anyone have any recommendations for cargo bike child seats? I see that some do people custom build child seats for these but not sure I’m handy enough for that.
