[Costco] Costco.ca: Sole E98 20 in. Light Commercial Elliptical - $2199.99

This is normally $2399.99 and has been out of stock for a while.
It's the best price that I have seen. Currently back ordered though (and will ship in early March).
At this price only until 03-Feb-21.

Sad I missed this deal. Been monitoring the Costco site periodically to see if it comes back in stock.

How does this machine stack up against others at this price point? Worth ponying up a bit more to go for a different brand?

Sole and Xterra typically give you better quality but less frills.

Sole builds solid quality equipment. It’s not as flashy and techy as Nordictrack, Peleton, Echelon etc. But it’s specialized and quality.

It’s not up there with true gym quality equipment like Precor, Landice and alike but, definitely higher quality than Nordictrack and cheaper budget brands like Proform, Xterra, Schwinn...

Although, as with anything you can get a lemon and I suspect they are not dealing with problems as Precor for example. But, Precor is $$$ vs Sole $$ for similarly furnished equipment.

However, IMHO good enough and more for home gym.

It's back in stock. Was out of stock during and after the sale. Back to $2399.99 though.
I ordered it on February 1st and it was delivered the next day even though the website showed it was back ordered to ship in March.

Hi Everyone.

Wondering if anyone has seen this elliptical in stock anywhere or knows when it will come back online?

Thanks,
Beata.

Is anyone else having the same problem I am?
Tension not appropriately changing on the programs.
Display will show a change in resistance, but it doesn't always automatically change.... you can manually push up or down, and it releases or increases, but it doesn't do it on it's own (despite the change on the display).

Another annoyance.... Even if you are in good shape, It's very unlikely you can do anything sustained after level 10. 50% of the levels are unusable for the majority of people. It would be nice to be able to set it so there were more increments between the usable range.

There is is no random program setting. I really miss that vs. my last eliptical.
