This bar is perfect to add variations in your dead lift while putting less stress on your lower back. By positioning yourself in the middle of the bar, stress on the lower back is reduced. This bar is also very effective for shrugs. Plates and collars sold separately.

The trap bar forces you to lift more with your legs then back as one can do with a standard bar. If your deadlift is way more then what you can lift on a trap bar then likely back dominant lifting. Also consider most use the bar with high handles that further reduced range of motion, making it not really comparable to a deadlift.

The price is great for a new bar to bad can’t look at it.
