I got a similar one from xrocker but did not come with the pedestal. I don't use the arm rest nor the built in speakers. The sound system bundled in mine wasn't that impressive. I assume this one hasn't improved. The seats fux leather cracks very early but I think that is typical of cheap gaming chairs. The bottom seat has lost cushioning in about a year of use and I put a folded blanket to fix that.

I still use and like it because I can lean back and use hotas comfortably for flight Sim and it is at eye level (without pedistal) to my TV. I placed chair over a workout mat just for sound dampening

Mine was a xrocker Evo like the one here. Does look diff so maybe build quality has improved. Worst case you can Costco return later. If it has the same quality issues I have had. You should notice problems after a month of constant use.
