[Costco] COSTCO: Citizen Eco-Drive Chrono AT Men’s Watch model: BY0120-54E $200 off for $399

I was looking through watches when I came across this deal. Seems like a fairly good price although I couldn't find many canadian dealers to compare the price to. It's selling for around $650-700 on ebay though.

Why do I feel that the actual price should just be little shy of $200 and they just make you think you getting a good deal by jacking up the price.
0 tolerance for BS.
If I downvote, chances are it's less about the deal, and more about OP's inability to take criticism and constantly favoring their deal due to their ego.

Sapphire glass, ecodrive and atomic time. Good luck finding these features at your price point.

You're right. You deserve this watch for $199.

Haha true enough. I have a larger wrist and I still can't see the reason for anything over 44mm outside of a Fleiger (sp?) or other flight watches.
If it’s not at least 50% off is it really a deal?

Not to forget titanium, 200m and no battery. Sounds like a good deal.

I'm old school. 40mm max for me. I have a 40 year old hand me down Rolex and it looks amazing still.

Very good if you can swing a huge watch, but 42mm is the absolute max for my small Asian wrist.

Good luck finding an eco-drive atomic time with titanium band and sapphire window near this price in Canada, Citizen is definitely not a brand like Invicta who do huge MSRP inflations.

Because you may have unrealistic expectations? This is a great deal. Costco's pricing even at regular is quite competitive to other retailers and when they put it on sale, it's an even better deal. My Hamilton Viewmatic automatic watch costs way more than this and all it has is time and date. Granted the two watches are targeted to different users but the Hamilton has no sapphire glass, needs to be kept wound, needs to be serviced every so often for timing and lubrication, is more fragile and susceptible to damage.

I have a couple of citizen eco-friendly watches. They keep great time and require almost no maintenance except exposure to light. One of mine is worn daily to work. This is a great deal.

The link in the first post shows 45mm for me. Are you talking about a different watch?

Since when Costco is renown for jacking up the prices before offering rebates? This isn't Canadian tire where everything is overpriced so they can afford offering 70% off sales every week

But, this is a very nice watch.
I was lucky enough to grab one of these. Still love it. The titanium makes such a huge difference. If I didn't have it I would be ordering this one probably.

$399 is a solid price for that particular watch. You can get cheaper Eco Drives models in the $150-250 range, but they'll usually have a mineral face, not a sapphire one. And this one is titanium, and not to mention quite large.
