Damn this is hot! I already ordered the Inspiron 14 from Dell. That only has 256GB and 8GB RAM.
I love RFD! :)

Double ram and ssd space for this older model if that means more to you.

Just FYI it's integrated graphics, not a discrete GPU. It's better than the Intel integrated graphics but not as good as a discrete GPU of course.

They all come with integrated GPUs, it's dedicated gpu that's the hard one to find (and what u want for gaming).

But ya I agree with you, this laptop might be able to. Play games like overwatch at like low settings and 720p resolution (to get a constant frame rate and not suffer dips during game play)

Is this superior to the ASUS one from Microsoft deal a while back?

At this price point, you're not gonna do better. If you do find better, I'm sure there will be something else horribly wrong with the machine (usually insufficient cooling).

I went with the cheaper 17" model. https://www.costco.ca/Dell-Inspiron-17- ... 73043.html

It's for the wife and she doesn't game, and won't use it for anything but online courses for work and photos/watching netflix. Great price for a device with a 1920x1080 screen and 8GB of RAM. Hard to go wrong for $400.

Thanks OP!

For regular use, yeah. For gaming, no. Pretty simple.

pretty sure this is a typo and it's gigabit. Can't verify 100% but I'd wager pretty heavily.
