[Costco] [Costco East] (Brossard + Candiac + Sherbooke + Business) Dec. 28, 2020 to Jan. 3, 2021 [Happy New Year 2021!]...

Hi there,

RFD Exclusive!

Note that as of December 26, 2020 until January 11, 2021, Costco is only allowed to sell essential items only, basically, groceries and related items. So, no electronic, no books, no toys, etc. All those sections are sealed and close off. Returns works the same way.

Welcome to the weekly Costco East thread, featuring pictures of sales items, clearance items, new or interesting products, and popular groceries with fluctuating prices.

Some guidelines:
- Only full-week sales or longer are included.
- All sales are YMMV, since inventory varies by warehouse and I may missed some items.
- I will provide general commentary after the pictures about things I see or missed.
- If you see my "thumbs up" in the photos, they are hot deals in my opinion.
- @krazykanuck will update the thread when he goes to Candiac, @willyfonsworth for Sherbrooke, and @Rlcky for Boisbriand (if they are able to do so)...
- Please credit this post when sharing these images on FB, etc. If you see anyone stealing content for another blog, let me know!
- If you like the thread, give an upvote! Suggestion for improvements are always welcome.

Warehouses covered this week: Brossard and after high five, Business Center!

Hi there,

General remarks:
Well, this seem to be a quick run, as you can't buy anything but groceries. I never seen Costco so quiet. The Business Center is pretty much the same.

Popular items:
The following items vary in price week to week. If I don't note something, it's likely the same price as the previous week (or I didn't see it).
- Kirkland Honey 3kg: 18.99$ (was 16.99$, lowest 15.99$)
- Kirkland bottle water 40 pack: 3.99$ (was 3.79$).
- Kirkland Almonds: 15.99$ (was 17.99, lowest 15.99$).
- Kirkland Pistachios 1.36kg: 19.99$ (was 23.49$, lowest 18.49$) <-- taxable
- Kirkland Shelled Pistachios (shells are removed) 680g: 19.99$ (was 19.89, lowest 14.89$) <-- taxable
- Kirkland Walnuts 1.36kg: 14.49$ (was 18.99$, lowest 14.49$)
- Kirkland Pecans 908g: 15.49$ (was 16.49$)
- Butter: 4.25$ (was 2.95$)
- Organic Coconut Oil Butter: 17.99$ (was 17.49, lowest 12.99$)
- Cream Milk 10%: 1.85$ (was 1.95$)
- Chocolate Milk: 3.69$ (was 2.69$)
- Whipping Cream Milk 35%: 5.99$ (was 4.15$)
- Kraft Peanut Butter 2KG: 7.49$ (was 7.99$) - Red one is 7.89$
- Banana: 1.99$ (was $1.69$, lowest was 1.39$)
- Kirkland Toilet Paper (30 rolls, 425 sheets per roll): 17.99$ (was 16.99$, lowest 15.99$)
- 30 packs eggs: 6.69$ (was 6.49$, lowest 6.29$)
- Kirkland Bacon 500g: 17.99$ (was 19.99$, lowest was 15.99$)
- Vanilla 473ml: 29.99$ (was 39.99$, lowest 29.99$)
- Organic Coco Power 700g: 9.89$ (was 9.99$)
- Kirkland Maple Syrup 1L: 12.99$
- Nutella 2x1kg: 12.29$ (was 10.29$)
- Kirkland Hazelnut Spread 2x1kg: 9.99$ (was 9.99$)
- Kirkland Organic Chia Seeds (1.36 kg): 8.99$
- Dove Bar Soaps 16x106g packs: 14.79$ (was 14.99$)

Hi there,

HOT ITEMS:

Toilet papers, of course. But there is tons of them now. Kirkland brand seem to have no more limit anymore.

No lysols though either Brossard nor Business Center...

Hi there,

Costco COVID-19 protocols...
https://www.costco.ca/coronavirus-response.html

As of December 26, 2020, only essential items will be sold. Returns will work the same way...

As of December 4, 2020, one member can enter per card. No more friends or family, except if they carried the card. Children are the exception, but they must wear a mask above 2 years ago.

- Mask somehow are no longer given and now required to enter with one...
- Sample booths are now there, they do give samples, but in full packs, you can only eat it at home.
- No longer allowed to use any groceries bags at all (I have to call my small little groceries bag my man purse).
- They have hand-sanitizer on the way in...
- Jewelry and stuff like that are back now, you will have to take a picture of what you want and show it at the cash to charge you (no more pencil and paper).
- You can now buy cell phones, but you can't see the demos.
- Gift cards cardboards are back again...
- Cash have those plastic separators...

Hi there,

Personal note log...

Still looking for a Honda Element for a delivery idea, need automatic, not high KM and budget ok. I was considering doing a Costco delivery for people who can't go to Costco. PM me only, as I do not want to off-topic the thread.

Does anyone got a graphic card with a DisplayPort?

Special thanks to RFD @diakonos to update my thread wording, making it look more professional. I hope you enjoy the new format.

Many thanks for those who need to be thanked.

Also, Bonjour! for the groups from Facebook that visit this thread every week. Somehow, I found out that this thread is pretty famous on there. *lol*

Thank you for waiting until I post this message before replying! And thank you to everyone for their support. If you like this thread, remember to upvote!

Are the no essential items for sale only a QC thing, or is it like that in ON too?

Thanks for the pics OP. Especially the pics of the blocked aisles. Was wondering how Costco was going to take care of this.
