OP mentions Rockyview - that would indicate Rocky View County, Alberta.

Not bad prices, just wish they had portable BBQs as I need one pretty bad for the winter at the cottage when the big boy is cleaned and stored away

Weber Spirit E-330 (1395671) may be $499.97 if you can find it too...

Great price on the tools. I bought them at clearance for 9.97, but this is even sweeter.

They are a little bigger and I wished they were entirely metal, but for the price you can't go wrong. This thing at an equivalent retailer would be $30ish easy.

I checked out the Napoleon LEX for a friend the other day. Although it looks great on paper (like a Chinese-made Prestige), in reality the build quality is VERY different.

Overall, it felt quite a bit more flimsy than not only the Prestige, but also the Rogue or the Legend - these have (at least in the past) been available at a sub-$1000 price point on sale. At $799, paying $200 more for the Rogue would be worthwhile.

I don't have enough knowledge on the Webers to compare them to the LEX other than they seem more sturdily-built.

I thought the same and bought it mainly for the brush ... didn't even last 2 months. Completely worn out and flat

I've had the LEX485 for 3 yrs now. I have the 4-burner version and NG. It's used 2-3 times/week minimum year round. "Flimsy" isn't a word I'd use to describe it. I works brilliantly at -20 and high winds. The seer grill was the main reason I got it as I sous vide a lot too and it's been great.

I looked at the higher priced ones at BBQs Galore and didn't think they were any more special.

If I needed a new machine, I would get that big LEX605 for $1000. But the 485 has been very good to me so far.

@robskot Maybe "flimsy" is too strong a word, but I expected the LEX to be more sturdy than I experienced last week (in fact, I had recommended it as an option to the same friend a couple of weeks ago when it was on sale last) before I saw it. I am comparing it to the Prestige 500 and the Rogue 525 from about 3 years ago, when I was shopping.

The LEX certainly LOOKED really impressive - lots of shiny SS, lots of light-up knobs, and lots of features... but the SS firebox, half-hood and deflectors struck me as thinner steel than that on the Prestige (note that the firebox on the Prestige is cast aluminum, not SS).

The one at Costco left me with the impression that it was a "high feature" item where they packed all of the features in at a lower price... I wonder if they've changed the quality to keep the price low? I know all of Napoleon's prices have really gone up in the last 4-6 years, putting them in a whole different price range.

Does anyone know which Costco in GTA have either the Weber E-410 or Weber S-345? Looks like they are sold out in my local store.

Does Costco do price adjustment for BBQ if the price dropped but no current stock in store?

Do you think the price may come down for the LEX605 or if we can find it elsewhere for cheaper?
