Did Costco increase referral to $20? I believe that it used to be $10.

I believe that anything more than 50% of its original price is not a good deal

It depends, those chocolate almonds go for around $20 each. So here $ savings in total is approximately $40 × 2 =$80
2 x 900 g bags Compliments chocolate almonds = 1.8 kg @ 2 x 6.99 = $14 . No membership required.

Still makes $35×2= $70.

Fair. I'd still rather have a few more dollars in my pocket than having to eat all that chocolate. Same goes for the person who would be referring me.

By few more dollars in your pocket, you mean watching a movie :)

Yep. Watching movies at cineplex is already a part of my lifestyle. I'm not forcing myself to watch movies to take advantage of the coupon, like I would be forcing myself to eat all those chocolate covered almonds. Two chocolate lovers would love this deal, I'm sure.

I just want to reiterate that this deal isn't for me, but I don't think it's a bad deal. It's clearly got value. And I'm not the person who downvoted this.
