[Costco] Costco Seville Tower Fan 40" - great price $49.99 delivered!

This fan has made its way around RFD before. Walmart/Amazon has it at $64.95. A few years ago (2017) at a Costco warehouse as per RFD, it was $44.95. This price, inflation adjusted, delivered is pretty fantastic for anyone needing a tower fan.

I've spent a few days finding a "large" (>35") tower fan for my garage, and I cannot beat this, ANYWHERE!! Pretty well reviewed as well.

Thanks for the share! :) I might be mistaking but I bought it at my local store (black version) at 39.99$. Perhaps the 10$ difference applies to the shipping... So far, satisfied with this fan for my son's room.

We've bought a few of these and they don't seem to last long. I think the bearings wear out and the fan develops a squealing noise, which isn't ideal since the kids have it on when they are sleeping.

Most tower fans sort of get annoying after a while from the ball bearings going.. Or it creaks when it turns.

ditto. I did see this at stores for $39.99 when I was at Costco last week. Didn't buy due to the noise you will get after 1-2 years of use.

I got a Rowenta from Costco and love it. Been using it for a few years now. They only have the table version now but they did carry the stand version, it may come back.

I would think that would apply to any oscillating fan though, wouldn't it?

I just bought similar one from amazon last week with $65, but just called amazon customer service for price match and they returned me $25 credit to amazon account..

Looks like costco one is old model compared to amazon

Curious, how do you know which one is the older one?

Is it just the oscillation that is louder or the fan as well?

Some years ago, someone posted here that the gear box need lubricant and it wasn’t easy to open the gear box. I’ll be trying on my bought years ago.

I bought these 2 pack last year from Costco for $20. They are very quiet and almost as powerful as the one OP posted.

I find that the small one is good enough for bedroom and living room if your house is just an average size house. The one posted by OP is good if you live in a mansion.

I'm curious how you got approved for the price match. I just called and the lady on the phone said its stated online that they don't price match and this is actually stated on their website and that they have a return window policy for this reason.
