[Costco] COSTCO VITAMIX V1200 $399.99

Just got back from Costco, Dundas and Winston Churchill location, and they've got the Vitamix Venturist 1200 for $399.99. Labelled as "special event". Comes in black, red, and grey colours.

I previously bought it for 599.99 when they had the roadshow stand, but it apparently came with some extra pieces then. This works out to be a better deal, in my opinion. They're selling some accessories as well.

That is a very nice price for the V1200 - we just got the E320 a couple of weeks ago, darn!

So is it $399 without any accessories??... The V1200 normally comes with the 8ounce, 20ounce, tamper holder, scraper, and cookbook... Does this come with any of those?

What were the prices of the accessories they had?

Which one you think is better between E320 with Personal Cup and V1200?
Is E320 loud?

Comes with one jug, the tamper, and cookbook. Personally didn't use the other accessories too much.

I'd jump all over it at this price, but I already own one.

So, it doesn't come with standard accessories. Probably that's why the lower price in addition to this being an event.

Assuming you ordered the E320; the E320 is a "better deal" ($20 cheaper, plus 2 personal 20ounce cups/blade [$100+ value]).... But is notably louder (~5-10 dB) and doesn't have benefit of the phone app/custom preset recipes. Both will do the exact same thing, with same results.

EDIT: Also, E320 has 7yr warranty vs. V1200 10yr... if that matters to you.

Both 2.2HP motors

.

Thanks, got one. I was going to get the E320 but I value being slightly quieter over the personal cup.

E320 is LOUD A.F. I returned mine and got the Ascent. Venturist should be similar to the Ascent. It is noticeably quieter. They have the Ascent 2300 online for $699 and it includes a large wet container, small dry container and 2 personal cups with blade attachment. I ordered this set from the TSC deal that was posted a while ago for $599.

The E320 is about twice louder than the Venturist. The Venturist is almost twice louder than the Ascent. Keep your Ascent and save your ears.

I have no plans to get rid of my Ascent. I love that thing.

My Ascent is loud. I can’t imagine the E320 is 4x as loud....

IIRC:
  • Ascent avg around 75 db
  • Venturix avg around 85 db
  • Explorian avg around 94 db.
Explorians seem to have a built-in jet-engine. However, many already have their hearing damaged by years of listening to loud music, won't be bothered by it.
