I got a better Cuisinart that has real burrs from Costco a few months ago for $60 and it’s pretty good for the price; I wouldn’t recommend this one.

EDIT: this is the one I got from Costco: https://www.cuisinart.ca/CBM-20C.html?lang=en
I can say that they are correct. The burrs they show in that article are exactly the same as on this machine.

The best are definitely conical burr as you will find in common grinders like Baratza, Bodum
Higher end espresso grinders often use flat burrs.

Also blade grinders have their place and can be fairly high end, like the Moccamaster grinder.

Step up from blade. Yes its not cone burr nor quiet. But really... go spend $150-$200 if youre going to be that picky
my review exactly. had it for 3 months now, works perfectly fine for drip, and is considerably better than my previous blade grinders.

Whats the consensus on this one ? I need it for my French press , is it worth it or will it just break within a year ? Too many bad reviews on this one makes me question it

This comes with 3 year limited warranty. I bought one last week but, instead of doing price adjustment, I will return it. I found it clotting after day 3; it required clearing the grinding interior with a brush (provided). Also, the coarseness consistence goes with the clotting, the longer you use before clearing the inside, the more inconsistent coarseness you get. Considering the inconsistency, the need of frequent clearing, as well as the static build-up, this is worse than my Bodum blade grinder. However, if you do not have any grinder before, this is a good price to start doing your coffee with beans.

Had one. After just over a month is kept over heating.

This is not a good product. I returned to Costco.

Had this a couple of years now. Works great. Yes there is static but not an issue for my normal use. Also bought one for my relatives and they are still enjoying it after a couple of years too. Static a non issue for them too.

I've been using ours for 3 months. Love it. Use it for coarse grind, French press exclusively

I use the De'Longhi Burr Coffee Grinder. Bought from Costco but not available online anymore. 65$. Not good for espresso but ok for everything else.
